Lavender Shortbread Cookies
• 2 c butter
• 1 c sugar + 1T lavender (ground together in food processor)
• 1 egg
• 4 c flour
Beat butter and sugar together until creamy. Beat in egg. Add flour gradually then shape into a ball and refrigerate for 2 hours. Roll out dough on floured surface to ½ inch thickness and cut into shapes with cookie cutter. Bake 30 minutes at 300°F (148°C).
