It’s more than another stop on the wine route. It’s a unique collection of pleasant surprises. Like our choice to grow apples, instead of grapes, so that you can taste the nuances of a dozen award-winning cider, brandies, and spirits. So come spend a day making discoveries of your own. Follow the self-guided tour or wander where the spirit takes you; Pamper yourself at the orchard spa; Savour a meal in the bistro from the orchard cookhouse; Grab a picnic lunch from the deli; Search for art and culinary treasures at the store. Or just relax with a cold one on the deck. This is Merridale – BC’s first estate cidery. Where friends and family gather. Welcome home. Website: www.merridalecider.com

Crunchy carrots and succulent snap peas are among the delicious surprises that await home delivery subscribers each week as they share in the year round, seasonal harvest from our Saanich Peninsula organic farms. Our farmer-run box delivery program provides local, certified organic produce to Victoria families year round. At a cost of $26.50 (farm pick-up) or $30.00 (delivered) per box, customers receive a selection of 7 to 9 different seasonal organic fruits and vegetables either every week or every second week. We harvest the day before we deliver, so the taste and nutrition are out of this world. The produce arrives in a locally made wooden box, accompanied with a newsletter that includes delicious recipes, information, and news from the farms. Give us a call, send us an email, or visit our website for more information or to sign up.
