Nestled in the shadow of Mt. Arrowsmith, Little Qualicum Cheeseworks and MooBerry Winery on Morningstar Farm produce a selection of world-class cheeses and fruit wines to delight the senses. Made from high quality milk from our own herd of dairy cows, we have artisan cheeses to suit any occasion, meal or just a light, fresh snack. And just across the courtyard is the winery, where delectable fruit wines pair perfectly with the cheeses. A farm centre including The Roost Bakery and Roost Garden Market and new Highland House Farm Winery. The Bakery offers wholesome baked goodies featuring flour grown and milled on-site, farm breakfasts, soups/salads, sandwiches and lunch specials. Parry Bay Sheep Farm and Stillmeadow Farm, both in Metchosin, produce all-natural lamb, pork, and free range chicken. We also grow grain for local bakeries and sell flour made from our wheat. We work hard to make sure our animals are healthy and happy. If you care about how farm animals are treated and about the nutritional value of what you eat, you many want to consider our products. You can find our meat and poultry in fine stores and restaurants, or you can buy direct from our farm store, open Sundays only, 11 am – 1 pm, at 4198 Stillmeadow Rd, in Metchosin.

Many thanks to our customers who have enjoyed our products for the past sixteen years! A small, diversified farm, we produce naturally raised chickens, turkeys, pork, beef and eggs without using antibiotics or added hormones. Whole birds, parts, sides, quarters or meat packages available. Our farm also sells toffee, peanut brittle and easy-to-prepare mixes for soup, rice, beans, bread and desserts. Full time vendors at the Nanaimo Downtown Farmers’ Market, May–Oct, Fridays, 10 am–2 pm. We deliver to Victoria and Nanaimo on advance orders. Please, for the safety of our livestock, no pets.
