The Alderley Grange at the north end of Alderley Road overlooks the picturesque Hunt Valley. Everything we raise (from poultry, pork, and eggs to vegetables and herbs) is grown using sound organic principles (no chemicals, no hormones, no preventive antibiotics). Our in-season produce includes garlic, onions, heirloom tomatoes, salad greens, carrots, beets, squash, peas, beans, strawberries, herbs, and more. We are taking orders for delicious Ridley Bronze turkeys and natural pork products from pasture-raised English Large Black Hogs (weaner pigs, whole, half, or sausages and individual cuts).

We started our hobby farm in 2007. We raise Black Welsh Mountain Sheep – a rare breed with long tails and blue tongues. Black Welsh Mountain Sheep wool available for purchase. We have fresh Omega-3 eggs and roasting chickens. We also raise New Zealand rabbits for pelts and consumption. Our farm is open by appointment only.

Come visit our farm stand! We are a family operation serving the Peninsula for over 25 years. We specialize in a wide selection of fresh quality vegetables like beans, peas, lettuce, squash, kohlrabi, broccoli, rhubarb, onions, pumpkins and zucchini. We have lots of basil, perfect for your pesto-making needs. Our award-winning scarlet runner beans are a local favourite. We have an abundance of fresh flowers, including asters, zinnias and sunflowers. Dried flowers also available, including statice, strawflowers and sea-lavender. Open daily dawn to dusk May to Nov. Madrona Farm is a 27 acre organic farm located 12 minutes from downtown Victoria. Our philosophy: we pick daily, we sell, you eat, daily. Eating foods closest to being picked is necessary for optimum health. WE practice “Agroecology”, 16 acres is under cultivation and the rest is forested. WE grow 103 crops over 12 months, that’s right, due to our fabulous soils and slope we grow food all year long! Open Wednesday to Saturday 11 am until dusk, 12 months a year. Real food for you to enjoy.

On Veyaness Rd, just north of Keating Cross Road.
Through use of Integrated Pest Management we have reduced or eliminated use of pesticides. In season, we offer: Strawberries, Raspberries, Tayberries and Marionberries. Limited amounts of berries this year. We have a full line of mixed vegetables as usual. Red Rhubarb: April–September. Daily U-Pick Pumpkins from the “Children’s Patch” at our farm stand. Saturday, 13 only, 9:00am – 4:30pm.  All proceeds from U-Pick Pumpkin sales donated to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation. Free coffee and doughnuts.
Jun–Oct – Open Daily from 9am to 5:30pm. Closed Mondays starting in Sept.
Nov–Jun – Self serve, 10am to 4pm.
